SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance


New York egg prices are 4 cents lower on Extra Large, Large and Medium.   
Regional and California prices are steady.  Asking prices for next week’s 
deliveries are trending lower on all sizes in all areas.  The undertone 
is lower to sharply lower.  Offerings are moderate to heavy.  Retail
demand is light.  Food service demand is light to occasionally moderate.  
Supplies are moderate to heavy for needs.  Market activity is slow to
instances moderate in the Southeast, slow elsewhere.  Breaking stock 
offerings are moderate to heavy for a light demand.  Light hen offerings 
are sufficient for the mostly light to moderate demand.
